The philogical analysis and research on the actual condition of drug abuse

Abstract

|
This study was attempted to establish a proper nursing plan to promote the health of psychology l and to collect the preliminary data for interventions
For this purpose, the problems of general characteristics and personalities for drug abusers were analyze by means of the philological consideration and research on the actual :conditions.
I analyzed the, charts of total 208 patients to be confirmed drug abuse among patients who had been admitted and had been treated at 0. P. D in psychiatric ward of S. hospital during past l0 years from Janu 1975 to December 1984.
The results were as follows:
1. The most predominant age of drug abuse group consisted of 40 to 49 years.
2. The highest rate for the level of education was occupied the graduates for senior high school infernals.
3. Ocupation in male was mostly agriculture industry, business and unemployment-and housewife in female among drug abusers.
4. Both the males and the female had the most neurosis in psychiatric diagnosis. 5. Married persons were more than the unmarried persons.
6. The first acceptance of drug abuse was the highest rate at 30 to 39 years.
7. The most common motive of accepting drug abuse was higher physical factor than psychological factor among male and female.
8. Male took the most analgetic and sedative and female took the most analgetic among drug.
From the above results, it showed that non-narcotics were abused because persons have wanted to relieve psychological pressure from the complexity of modern societies
For solving the problems, it is suggested that the regulation of excessive drug advertisments and expansion of medical treatment benefits are required, the side effect and adverse reaction of abusing drug are to be taught as a primary hearth care practioner and the through administration of drug in to be considered by the government authorities.
